When placing in a 1955-1962 Chevrolet 235 or 261 inline six cylinder engine in a 1954 or older truck some do not want a modified short shaft low position water pump. If you prefer the high position 216 water pump in the stock location, this adapter plate is for you.
*NOTE*
This does require some handy work by you. You will need your own 5/16 drill bit and a 3/8-16 tap.
Requires drilling two 5/16 inch diameter holes in front of engine block 3/4 inch deep and then tap new threads.
